Attendance & Punctuality

KSA requires all students to be available for the entire module. Absence from classes, other than for reasons of illness, are strictly by prior arrangement with the Course Director. KSA reserves the right to dismiss any student from the course with an unsatisfactory attendance record. Students are required to arrive punctually for all classes, as late-starting can affect the entire class. Late admission to a class is at the discretion of the tutor. A late arrival which adversely affects a class or rehearsal in this way shall be treated as an unauthorised absence.

Behaviour

Students are expected to behave as professionals. Any behaviour which brings KSA into disrepute will result in the relevant student being dismissed from the course.

Course Equipment

Students will be asked to provide certain items, which they will require for some classes.

Work Permission

Prior permission must be obtained from the Course Director by any student wishing to take part in any stage, television, film or modelling work, whether amateur or professional. Permission will usually be granted if the work is deemed to be in the best interests of the student and not adversely affect their training.

Payment Terms & Refunds

Each term is paid for separately, in advance. A non-refundable deposit equivalent to 50% of the terms fee is due upon acceptance of an offer of a place. The remaining 50% of the course fees for that term is due at least four weeks prior to the commencement of that term. Any student wishing to leave the course will not be entitled to a refund of that terms fees. Any student asked to leave for reasons of behaviour or non-attendance will not be entitled to any refund of course fees.

Course Content

KSA reserves the right to alter course content/timetable/tutors as necessary.

Equal Opportunities

KSA welcomes applications from all members of the community who meet the audition and performance criteria, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexuality or disability. At audition, the Academy will need to be satisfied that candidates can fulfil all the requirements of the course in order to achieve their full potential.

Health, Safety & Student Welfare

KSA has a Health & Safety policy; however, each student is responsible for their own personal Health & Safety. Advice will be given at the commencement of each course and students will be expected to comply.

Personal Possessions

Whilst every care is taken to ensure a safe, secure training environment, KSA accepts no responsibility for loss of or damage to personal possessions.
